Respite
Gemhill Cottage has been providing respite accommodation since 1992, and is registered with the NDIS as a short term accommodation venue. It has full wheelchair access.
- We welcome current participants of NWDS and external participants who find the environment suitable.
- Short term accommodation can be from one night to several weeks of support.
- Gemhill can facilitate multiple participants for short term accommodation at the same time.
- Support levels can be catered for and drop in nursing care can be arranged.
- There is two fully accessible bathrooms, with toilet, shower and commode.
- Kitchen and laundry facilities are available for those participants who wish to continue developing their daily living skills whilst staying in short term accommodation.
- There is a lovely backyard with covered outdoor area and lots of local areas to visit and enjoy.
- Conveniently located opposite Showground Metro Station.
