NWDS greatly appreciates the contributions made by individuals who donate their time to enrich the social life of individuals accessing the service. The need for volunteers is great and we encourage all members of the community to join us in providing a quality service. Volunteers can assist in many ways at varied times. All volunteers are offered a training course and opportunities for ongoing skill development. Individuals are welcome to join our voluntary, community based Board of Directors or the various sub-committees that operate to enhance services. Volunteers can also assist with admin duties and support programs in activities, outings and short holidays.
