Aberdoon House

Aberdoon House is a historic sandstone homestead constructed in 1887 and refurbished by the Hills Shire Council in 2003. NWDS leased Aberdoon House and successfully established a coffee shop and art gallery until 2008.  The use of the building then changed to focus more on the delivery of disability services and the provision of a range of community services. Aberdoons vision is to support and encourage growth in the creative fields of art and cooking with flexible and individualized learning opportunities. It offers a wonderful environment to explore through creation whilst developing skills, confidence and friendships.

Aberdoon is nestled within lovely grounds that enable a person with a disability the opportunity to explore an old world environment in the suburban residential area of Rouse Hill.

NWDS provides a range of services from Aberdoon House and works with the local community to bring people of all ages into this wonderful environment.
