Aberdoon House
Aberdoon House is a historic sandstone homestead constructed in 1887 and and refurbished by the Hills Shire Council in 2003. NWDS leased Aberdoon House and successfully established a coffee shop and art gallery until 2008. The coffee Shop supported a great many young people to build their hospitality skills and develop confidence to continue to paid employe. The use of the building then changed to focus more on the delivery of disability services and the provision of a range of community services. Aberdoon provides a wonderful environment with extensive grounds that enable a person with a disability the opportunity to explore an old world environment in the suburban residential area of Rouse Hill.
NWDS provides a range of services from Aberdoon House and works with the local community to bring people of all ages into this wonderful environment.
